"JE....thanks for 40 great years of rock and roll!! Have a super day!! Thanks for making it fun! Love ya!!!!!!! Meg. (aka Blinky Spice)"

"Dear John,
I have been enjoying your music ever since a girlfriend of mine (you know her as Carli's mom!) dragged me away from a Tommy Conwell show to see you perform. I think that was in 1989. Well, we all know what happened to Tommy...

I have seen you play in clubs and bars all over the New Jersey/Philly area, and have lots of fond memories of your shows. I miss those days at the Empire, the Stone Pony, and even at the Ocean Drive where they wouldn't let me in without a picture ID and you got me in! I moved to southern California in 1992, and have still managed to keep up with you career (with Mindi's help of course).

Congratulations on the new CD, and on your birthday. This is the best time of the year at the Jersey shore, so have a great summer ! !
Best wishes,
Janine"
